[Please note: Only signed letters will be considered for publication.] LOVES LITTLE RICHARD For many years I have smiled with Candid Camera, for many years I have tapped along to Little Richard's music. To have him sing your theme song is the perfect blend of smiles mixed with heart pumping music. I love it and hope it remains your theme for many years to come. —A. Sudolsky WHY 'SHUT UP'? I've been watching candid camera as long as it's been on and have always enjoyed it. I would love to continue to watch, but you've added Little Richard to the background and I object to hearing him tell people to "shut up." I'd slap my kid if he told me to shut up and I don't want to have to listen to him tell me and others to shut up. That's NOT funny. —Dunk from Crosby, Texas [Peter's reply: Richard is simply being playful and using the phrase "shut up" in a contemporary sense where the meaning is along the lines of "go on" or "get out." Please don't allow it to trouble you.] BAD HAIR DAY? I really like Suzanne on the show, but her hairdo on the Nov. 5 episode was very unbecoming. I hope to see better styles in the future. —Sonya Francis MORE REACTIONS I would like to suggest that you all show more of the people's reactions. You seem to only show one of them. It is fun to see the pranks you all play but the reactions are very funny also. Thanks for a great show. —Dennis Blair, Levelland, Texas TACKY? Generally, I love the sequences on Candid Camera. However, you have done a bad thing this time. The sequence involving the ATM, in my opinion, was tacky. I think it was in very poor taste, and you should offer a public apology to those involved. Other than this, I still like your show. —Rusty Kelly RECOGNIZING PETER? My husband and I can't understand why some of those people on your show don't recognize Mr. Funt from the show. I have tried to do some of your tricks on my friends and the look on their faces is just indescribable. Do you ever come to Canada?
